Free Shot Timer App For iPhone

If you really want to discover all of the little demons that are hiding in your fast draw, and then exercise them with practice, then a shot timer is an almost must for tracking your improvement in getting rounds on target in the shortest amount of time possible. Problem is, shot timers like the one shown below are all over $100. But I found one that you can have for free. And it freaking works!

Now while I am sure there is something equal on Android devices, I use an iPhone so that is what I looked for. This free shot timer app is supported by an add that sits at the top of the screen, but takes up little room.

It is put out by Innovative Applications, but was originally commissioned by Taurus, unless I got my facts all wrong. It was advertised on Taurus's website and carried their branding for a while.

No matter the story behind it, it's free and it works like a champ, giving you all of the features of the big named devices, plus a few more. Not only does it record start to stop times, with all of the split times in between, but it also saves all of that data, and then allow you to email it to yourself for archiving later.

Additionally, it is customizable for sensitivity, and delay of start. Plus it will even do a randomly timed start so you don't know when it's coming.
