A Bad Day For The Bad Guys At A Sonic Drive-Thru

Joseph Toombs of Georgia was approached by as many as 4 criminals at a local Sonic Drive-thru demanding money. At least one of the assailants was armed and pointed his gun at Toombs. That idiot is now in the morgue.

Mr. Toombs is a concealed carry permit holder and was able to draw his own weapon and open fire. All of the assailants quickly dispersed. At least one is now in custody, and the one with the firearm that pointed his weapon at Mr. Toombs has now died due to his injuries.

Chalk one up for the good guys. By the way, the firearm used by the bad guy was one that was illegally obtained.

The one apprehended assailant is now in custody and faces murder charges, as Georgia has a law that states if anyone dies while you are involved in the crime in any way what-so-ever, you can be charged for murder. And he has. The other two persons still remain at large, though they have identified them and the search for is ongoing.

Mr. Tombs will not be charged with any crime.
