Home Owner Proves High Capacity Magazines Saves Lives

In Houston, Texas a homeowner's story give clear precedence that high capacity magazines save lives. Because it had a lot to do with why he is still breathing today.

The homeowner was awakened to the sounds of someone breaking into his home. He retrieved a handgun from his dresser, and went to the top of his stairs to investigate while his wife called the police. He did not barricade himself in his room because he had children in rooms down the hallway and felt that the top of the stairs was a better option.

Once there, he encountered two armed assailants at the base of the stairs. He did not hesitate and opened fire. The two armed intruders began firing back.

Eventually under the barrage of gunfire, the two intruders were forced to flee and remain still at large. All in all, over 30 rounds were exchanged with the homeowner accounting for half of them. Thankfully due to his high capacity magazine, he did not have to retreat for more ammo.
