- The Soviet Union established gun control in 1929. From 1929 to 1953, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

- Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979, 300,000 defenseless Christians were rounded up and exterminated.
- Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977, 1 million "educated people," unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
He also shows that Afghanistan had zero gun control laws prior to the Soviet invasion in December of 1979. By comparison, they were a backwoods people with no real military to speak of. Yet all of their citizens were armed. They were able to thwart the entire Soviet threat as a result of their citizens being armed. In 1989, after 10 years of getting their butts handed to them, the Soviets had enough and withdrew. Genocide had been prevented.
